How to do it

  1. Lie back on a bench with one dumbbell held over your chest in both hands, cupping the top head.
  2. Keep your arms almost straight, elbows barely bent.
  3. Lower the dumbbell back over your head until you feel a stretch across your lats.
  4. Pull it back over your chest without bending your elbows.
  5. Almost-straight arms keep this on the lats. Bend them and your triceps take over.
