About Full Coverage

A workout app that shows its arithmetic - built by one lifter who got tired of guessing what a crowded gym was costing him.

18muscle groups
11-13movements in your program
4-9sets per muscle, weekly
220+movements in the catalog

Mike Zino builds software for a living and has been lifting for most of his adult life. The two habits collided every evening around six, in a gym where the squat rack had a queue, the cable station was taken, and a planned 50 minutes quietly turned into 80 minutes of waiting and improvising.

The apps did not help. They handed him a list and asked him to trust it. Not one of them could answer the only question that matters while you are standing in a busy gym: if I swap this for that, what does it cost me? So he started working the answer out himself - a spreadsheet of which exercises loaded which muscles, and by how much.

That spreadsheet became the coverage engine. Full Coverage now carries a per-muscle activation number for every movement in its catalog, adds them up in front of you, and recalculates the moment you change anything. The program it builds is the shortest one that still puts all 18 muscle groups on target - because the goal was never to train longer.

I never wanted a longer workout. I wanted to walk out knowing nothing got skipped.

Why it exists

A generated plan is a black box: you get exercises, sets and reps, but never why those ones. So you cannot tell whether your shoulders are actually covered this week, and you cannot tell what it costs you when the squat rack is taken and you improvise. Full Coverage answers both questions on screen, in numbers, while you are still standing in the gym.

How the engine works

Still one person

No studio, no venture money, no growth team - which is why the roadmap is short, the app has never shown an ad, and there is nothing to upsell you in the middle of a set. When something here is wrong, one person reads the email and the same person fixes it.

Where the numbers come from

The muscle model and the exercise selection were built in consultation with a licensed personal trainer with an anatomy background, then encoded so the math stays consistent across every variant. The activation percentages are informed estimates for planning, not lab measurements - and Full Coverage is training software, not medical advice.

Three rules, in this order

When two of them conflict, the higher number gives way. Coverage is never traded for speed.
