Delete your account and data
Last updated: August 18, 2026
You can delete your Full Coverage account and all of your training data at any time, yourself, without contacting us. Deletion is immediate and permanent - there is no recovery period and no way for us to restore it afterwards. Export anything you want to keep first.
Delete it from the app
- Open Full Coverage and go to Settings (the ⚙ button in the header).
- Scroll to the Data section.
- Optional, and worth doing first: tap Export my data to download your full training log as a JSON file.
- Tap Delete account and confirm twice.
This works the same way in the web app and in the Android app. You are signed out as soon as it completes.
If you can't sign in
If you have uninstalled the app, forgotten your password, or lost access to your email, send a deletion request from any address using our contact form and tell us the email address the account uses. We will verify that you control the account before deleting anything, and complete the request within 30 days. If you can still sign in, use the in-app route above instead - it is instant.
What is deleted
Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes:
- Your account record: email address, password hash, display name, and any stored subscription or customer identifiers.
- Your entire training log - every workout, set, weight and repetition you have recorded.
- All of your synced settings and profile data: equipment, level, training goal, bodyweight, sex, your saved session and your exercise selections.
Everything above lives in a single account record and a single data document, and both are destroyed by the same operation. Nothing is retained in a "deleted" or archived state.
What is kept, and why
We keep a small amount of information that is not part of your account, because we are legally or operationally required to:
- Payment and invoice records. If you ever paid for Pro, our payment provider Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and keeps the transaction and invoice records it is required to keep for tax and accounting purposes. That data is held by them, under their privacy policy, and deleting your Full Coverage account does not remove it. Deleting your account also cancels any active subscription.
- Billing event records. If a payment was ever processed for your account, we keep the provider's own event records so a payment cannot be accidentally applied twice. These contain the provider's identifiers, not your training data.
- Security audit records. If an administrator ever performed an action on your account (for example a support-requested data reset), we keep a dated record of that action including the email address it applied to. This is a security log; it exists so privileged actions cannot be taken invisibly, and it is never used for any other purpose.
- Anonymous traffic counts. We keep daily page-view totals for the public website. These are aggregate counters only - no IP addresses, no user agents, no cookies, and nothing that identifies a person or an account. There is nothing in them to delete.
Encrypted backups may hold a copy of your data for a short period after deletion and are overwritten on a rolling basis within 30 days. They are never used to restore a deleted account.
Deleting the app is not deleting your account
Uninstalling the Android app or removing the web app from your home screen does not delete anything. Your account stays active until you delete it using one of the routes above.
