Plate Lateral Raise
How to do it
- Hold a weight plate at its edges in front of your thighs.
- Soften your elbows.
- Raise the plate out and up to shoulder height, keeping your arms wide rather than in front.
- Lower slowly.
- Holding the plate wide keeps the load on the side of the shoulder rather than the front.
Muscles it trains
Percent of one session's target for that muscle. Anything at 100% finishes that muscle on its own.
- Side delts 80%
- Front delts 35%
- Forearms 20%
