Hack Squat Calf Raises
Hack Squat Calf Raises trains 1 of the 18 muscle groups Full Coverage tracks: Calves 95%.
How to do it
- Load the hack squat and get under the shoulder pads as if you were about to squat.
- Put just the balls of your feet on the bottom edge of the platform, heels hanging off.
- Straighten your legs with a slight bend in the knees and release the safeties.
- Drop your heels into a full stretch, then press the carriage up using only your ankles.
- Never lock the knees out - if they are moving, your quads are doing the calves job.
