Front Raises
How to do it
- Stand holding a dumbbell in each hand in front of your thighs, palms facing your legs.
- Soften your elbows and keep that angle fixed.
- Raise one or both arms straight out in front of you to shoulder height.
- Pause, then lower slowly.
- No higher than shoulder height, and no swinging - the front delt already gets work from every press you do.
Muscles it trains
Percent of one session's target for that muscle. Anything at 100% finishes that muscle on its own.
- Front delts 85%
