Dip station

Dip station exercises

Two fixed handles at about hip width that you hold while your feet hang clear, so you press your own bodyweight straight down. Often built into the same frame as the pull-up bar, sometimes as a standalone stand. It gives the heaviest bodyweight chest and triceps work there is.

On its own Dip station drives no muscle to target - it is support, not load. It appears in 1 movements alongside other equipment.

Where to find it: Two short parallel bars sticking out of a frame at hip height, often with a padded back pad between them.
