Barbell Wrist Curl
How to do it
- Sit on a bench and rest your forearms on your thighs, palms up, wrists just past your knees.
- Hold a barbell and let your wrists drop back, letting the bar roll to your fingertips.
- Roll it back up and curl your wrists as high as they go.
- Squeeze, then lower slowly.
- Rolling to the fingertips is what makes this a grip exercise as well as a forearm one.
Muscles it trains
Percent of one session's target for that muscle. Anything at 100% finishes that muscle on its own.
- Forearms 90%
