Back extension bench exercises
A padded frame, usually set at 45 degrees, with rollers you wedge your ankles behind and a pad against your thighs. You bend at the hips and straighten back up. It is the only station that loads the lower back through a full range without a barbell.
On its own Back extension bench drives no muscle to target - it is support, not load. It appears in 1 movements alongside other equipment.
Where to find it: An angled padded frame with two ankle rollers at the bottom, usually parked near the mats.
